I also paid the right of generosity and gathered wealth with both hands. Gradually I started to become poor from rich. I was shocked at their disloyalty. Then one day I thought that it is not right to waste my wealth in this way. If you sit at home and eat, Qarun's treasure also ends. So I thought that the remaining wealth should be invested in trade and the profit obtained. This should drive home. The next day I sold my goods and left with other merchants from the port of my city to Basra. We were proceeding through the Persian Gulf, passing near the islands of the East. During the voyage we landed at several ports, sold old goods, and bought new ones. Everything was perfect. One day, the weather was pleasant. Our ship was moving forward with great speed tearing the chest of the sea. Suddenly a small island came in our way. We did not even know that something bad was going to happen to us. The captain ordered the sailors: Open the sails and bring the ship close to the island. Then he addressed us and said: Any traveler among you who wants to go to the island for a short time should come to me. is allowed.” It was a big surprise for us. About twenty we landed on the passenger island and started walking around. Kebab was our favorite food. Two or four men brought wood from the ship and started preparing for a fire. We were very happy and joking with each other. were We had just started roasting the kebabs when the island began to shake slowly. Then, as we watched, the island shifted significantly from its place. After that, we felt a strong shock. Everyone thought that an earthquake was coming. Meanwhile the voice of the captain of the ship came: Come back quickly or the fish will go back into the water ․․․․․․․․․․․․․․․․․․․․․․․․․ Then we found out that what we thought was an island was a huge fish that had come to the surface to sunbathe. Among the passengers who were fast enough, they reached the ship by swimming. It was a very strange scene. The fish was slowly going down in the waves and the water was rising all around me. No one had any illusions that it was not an island, but a fish. I didn't understand anything else, so I hurried. A piece of wood was captured from the island and brought to the island for burning. The last scene I saw was that the sailors were clamoring and the ship was moving away from me. The water was choppy due to the diving of such a large fish. It was a time of great panic. I held on tight. He took the wood in both his arms and closed his eyes.Sometimes I was above the waves, sometimes below. After a few hours, it got dark and it started raining. I was scared. I didn't know where I was spending the whole night. Finally, by God's grace, it was morning and the shore was far away. The land began to appear. The waves slowly took me to the shore and I lay face down on the wet sand. I was exhausted from the cold, exhaustion and hunger. Some water had also gone into my mouth. I was so scared from the incident of the previous day that I thought that it might not be a fish either. For this purpose, I hit my foot hard on the ground a few times, but there was wet land. There was nothing else. I was worn out and weak, but still bravely went forward and quenched my hunger with some herbs. When I came to my senses, I started to explore the island. In the middle of the island was a field of grass where a few Abyssinians were grazing their horses. Seeing me, they shouted and ran near me. They were four or five tall men with strong bodies. Their complexion was black and their teeth were white. They began to speak to me in a strange language. At first I tried to answer with signs when they did not understand. Tired, he said in Arabic: "Who are you?" An old Abyssinian stepped forward and began to answer me in Arabic: "That is why we are asking you, who are you and how did you come to this island?" I told him my whole story. He treated me with great respect and fed me in his tent. Then he said: Young man! Keep your heart strong. You are in the country of a merciful king. We are all his slaves and the royal horses are here every day. We will present you in the court. The king will surely be very happy to see you.” Hearing this, my courage increased and the fear of previous events disappeared. I thanked them. In the evening, they took me to the royal palace, which was built in the middle of the population. Gule appeared before the king during the day. After listening to my story, the king comforted me and said that you are my guest. Stay here as long as you want. After that, the king ordered that I should be taken care of as a royal guest. So I spent the rest of my life there. All the time I was disappointed and sad, because everything I had was lost and my family members were also separated. There was a port on the same island where commercial ships from all over the world came and went. The port was so big that it was always full of people because of the crowd. I often went there and returned after spending some time. One day I was standing there at noon when a ship came and stopped. The sailors dropped anchor and began to unload merchandise. The merchants received their goods and went to the warehouses. Suddenly I saw a few bales on which my name was written in bold letters. It was heard that he was giving orders to the sailors: Sandbad's equipment was put aside separately so that his equipment could not be mixed with other equipment. I contemplated the appearance of the captain and remembered that this was the one with whom I had started the journey. I ran to him and after the initial greeting told him that I was Sindbad who had accompanied him. had started the journey but was separated from it by a peninsula of fish. The captain refused to believe me and said that Sindbad had sunk before our eyes when the fish dived into the water. I argued with him and gave several signs. Finally he was satisfied and handed over my belongings to me. I kept the goods there in the warehouse of the port and walked towards the royal palace. My bus was not running, otherwise I would have flown to the king and told him that my merchandise had been found again by chance. When the king heard about this, he was also happy and wished me well. After that I stayed on the island for a few more days, then took permission from the king and left. He sent me off with gifts. After that I landed at several ports on the way. Sold my old goods and bought new. After a long period I returned to my city. When I reached home, the people of the tribe gave me a warm welcome and had a big feast. I had sandal wood, peacock and banyan jars, cloves, cinnamon, rose perfume, camphor, gold and silver ornaments, silk and silkworms and many gems as merchandise. All these goods were taken from hand to hand in our city. I made a profit of about one hundred thousand gold coins in the trade. I bought a garden and built a magnificent house in it. Thus began to live a comfortable life. Soon I forgot all the pains and sufferings of the past and began to live happily.
